Relocation programme

Countryside Properties have used Oak Meadow as a relocation site for reptiles that need to be safeguarded and rehoused from their local development sites.

Countryside properties have begun to translocate reptiles from their residential development site in Takeley. So far, July 2013, a few lizards and a large number of slow worms have been introduced to Oak Meadow and transfer work will continue over the next few months. We are very grateful to Countryside Properties for their financial donation to the Nature Reserve.
